I was coming up on my 100th DJ livestream and one of my co-workers (Smashlames, who also had DJ experience) at that time suggested I do it in person, since I had almost no in person DJ experience (the only being Jovian’s Sunday Brunch where I played a short 25 minute set). In addition, I had technically never been the “headliner” at a DJ event before, so it would also double as a celebration event. He had helped set me up a date at a local brewery, and that is where I conducted it.
Unfortunately, I was super unprepared for setting up a “mobile” livestream as well as being comfortable with my mobile DJ setup on top of DJing in person the first time, so the livestream itself was not that great an experience, and I didn’t really capture any of the livestream, video, or picture media, but was still fun experience for myself overall, as had a handful of people show up in person who seemed to enjoy it.
