After starting my DJ livestreaming venture in 2017, and gaining traction through 2018, Twitchcon 2018 was the first Twitchcon event I was actually interested in attending. The person who had initially sparked my interest in DJing was also a DJ streamer on Twitch at the time, and he was hosting a Sunday DJ brunch party that Sunday ending the con’s weekend. This is where I had signed up to DJ at for one of the opening timeslots, and would be my second time DJing in an in-person setting (the first being my 100th DJ livestream).

I was coming up on my 100th DJ livestream and one of my co-workers (Smashlames, who also had DJ experience) at that time suggested I do it in person, since I had never DJed in person before. He had helped set me up a date at a local brewery, and that is where I conducted it.
